J's pre-school (Japanese) had an early celebration at The Huntington, San Marino.
The children were recommended to be in kimonos, called Yukata or Jinbei.
Decorated Bamboo |
There were Origami booths for the Bamboo decorations.
J was very shy and didn't want to make any paper decorations.
He joined the story time(the story of Tanabata) and singing time though.
No I don't want to go. I want to sit here. |
A DISTANCE from the singing children! He didn't want to be in the chorus. |
He refused to take one at first, but ended up with two. He was very excited.
We walked to the Chinese Garden to see ducks and fish, and then A waked up from his nap.
There was only one duck. |
Of course, we stopped at the Children's Garden for more fun.
